God: still demonstrates love….
Psalm 27:2-3 (KJV) “When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident”.
As we look at the world today, the news at any time in the day is full of abuse of power, disrespect and lack of love pervading the airwaves and the media strive on having you believe that this is what life is all about for society.
We know, believe and we choose to live by a different set of standards where our offspring, our children, those we love and those who pertain to us can understand that there is a God and that as He was in the beginning, He is still in operation in our lives today.
In our lives we can gain enemies by choosing to believe in this Christ our Lord, we are be hated for what we choose to practice in regards to the love He demonstrated to us and still chooses to pour out upon us, our foes are many, and they are very lively.
The fact that we are condemned, hated and disabused does not give us the option of not loving; as a matter of fact it calls for a deeper push to show love to those who despitefully use and abuse us. This is one of the hardest acts for anyone to live by, especially when your foes comes from the least expected direction and when it comes from those who you have showed love and are close to.
The expectation when the attack comes is that you will fear and you will hate, but if we live in Christ and He lives in us, then the act of loving the least is found in trusting in Him who endured and was persecuted for our sakes. Beloved and loved of Christ, in our lives, let the love of God take us to the limit which will surprise ourselves as well as our enemies.
