Faithfulness works both ways…

you and God talks

God: gives and continues giving;what’s your expectations?

1 Samuel 2:35(KJV) “And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house: and he shall walk before mine anointed forever”.

In the matter of considering faithfulness we expect God to be faithful in supplying our needs, each and every one of them if it is in His will for our lives, but most expeditiously when we the need is dire and it is a crisis situation.

And for the most part, God hears and answers our prayers, He supplies our needs according to His riches in glory and when it is the right time and the thing that will work out His purpose in our lives. He also causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust. He is surely a righteous and loving God, who patiently and faithfully works out the good for His people; I love Him.

But as in everything in life, faithfulness is a two way street and it is our duty to faithfully strive to serve God with a heart that contains no dissimulation; a mind made up and fully focused on pleasing Him in all our ways. This expectation is not fully recognized in many of our lives and it is a longed for desire for many of us who want to get to that deeper place of serving.

But faithfulness and God’s grace is an intricate combination which can allow us to be that one which God chooses to accomplish His work. Samuel was a prophet bar none, who was anointed by God, called by God and sanctioned to do God’s will and it took a barely mentioned covenant with his mother and God to put it all into place.

Beloved reassess your conversations and expectations especially if they are limited by lack of expectation..

Trivia: Scripture reveal that God was on a mount and was surrounded by a certain number of angels; what mount and how many angels surrounded Him?
