Psalms 43:3 (KJV) “O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
In the course of the day, we get to places; it can be in actuality or it can be in our imagination. As long as we are alive, we are in movement; movement gets dangerous when go into the dark zones.
At times it might be innocently, but our thoughts might veer into a direction which can be a trigger for internal torment, and at times, of great joy, but it just goes. We are cautioned about keeping command of them in the NT and it can be a difficult task for many people.
Like our thoughts, our feet can be distracted into directions or places where we ought not to be going; we tend to inadvertently walk into traps where it takes more energy and concentrated effort and assistance at times to get rid of in our lives.
The psalmist is beseeching God, who is the creator of the “light”, and who is the “light” to send out the light, the needful entity which will light our feet and lead us in a straight path. Everyone I expect, needs some type of guidance in life; we didn’t get to where we are today knowing it all, but must have adhered to some interjection, intercession, direction that have borne fruit (or not) in who we have become.
Beloved and dearly loved of God, seek and beseech God to shed and shine light on your life, your actions and intentions and allow His timely truth to guide you gently down the streams of time. It is His pleasure when we His children seek Him in our ways.
