Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid”?
There are many things that go bump in the night; there are many people who attempt to be fearful and threatening; there are many situations so traumatic that if you focus on them you would lose your sanity.
But glory be to the God of my salvation who have not left me and have remained constant in His position in my life; if anything, His role has increased more as I have learnt to trust and lean on His direction. God, there have been so many hurts and pain, but He has demonstrated a firm foundation which cannot be easily moved.
I love that in every test and trial He allows to come into my life, there is a measure of knowing He is there in the midst of it all.
In this life, I don’t know much, but of this I am certain, people will fail me, life will disappoint me, I expect people to be who and what they do best, so I don’t put my trust in them; but the good Lord never waivers in my estimation.
Who are you leaning on today?
