God:fought and won already….
2 Chronicles 20:15-17 (KJV) “And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.”
We have gotten ahold of some situations in our life so tightly that it is a wonder it doesn’t drag us to the ground with the weight of it. This in itself is so wrong because our Father has already fought our battle when He sent His Son to die for us on the cross.
That battle we are now waging a war against has been won in the heavenly by our Father, yet we persist in exercising our skills.
But to God be the glory for the enemy has been defeated and Christ has risen undefeated from the grave. Grace for us; rejoice in this freedom…
