That is what many of us do with our Savior: He is the one who has truly demonstrated death and resurrection with power and everlasting life and when we accept Him then reject Him, we attempt to kill Him again.
It is a dilemma, and one that I don’t want to be guilty of, but my prayer is for faith to be favorable before Him when He comes in His glory; my friend, it is possible to apply everlasting faithfulness, it is possible….
