God: have bragging rights on His name…
Hebrews 6:13-15 (KJV) “For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise”.
A classic example of a long held promise is the story of the Patriarch Abraham, who for all the obstacles which came his way, had a deeper and unusual understanding of the character of God.
When a soul has tasted what the world has to offer and it leaves a taste of bitterness and unfulfilled longing, then it is time to look to the real source of existence; that my friend is the God who created us.
The unusual aspect of Abraham’s faith is that God made the promise and when it seem impossible to count for anything, it happened.
I know at some level you are believing God for something that seems so impossible if you had to share it with an unbeliever, but within yourself you know that God will come through in an Abraham manner.
I agree with you and believe it shall come to pass.
