God: is the best dietitian ever…
John 6:35 (KJV) “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst”.
In some parts of the world, today is considered a laid back day, where families get to bond and spend time together in a way they couldn’t in the week. Good times and laughs, and great food as well starting with a well prepared breakfast, brunch, lunch etc.
But as we spend the time preparing food for physical bodies, let us not forget to plan for our spiritual nourishment as well as this is what is taking the hard hits in this walk of life.
Without proper nourishment and attention, our spiritual man will shrink and decrease and be ineffective to fight the battles we cannot see.
Our enemy is depending on us to not pay attention or feed the spiritual man, but focus our attention on the physical and therein lies our largest battle: believing the lies of the adversary.
But Jesus gave us an open invitation to His table, to the feast, the meal that is always available: eat this bread of life and your hunger will be abated forever..
Meditate: Joshua 1:8 (KJV) “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success”.
