God: looks at us in beauty…
Psalm 139:14 (KJV) “ I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well”.
Sometimes you get to comforting someone who is deeply distressed and because they aren’t seeing what you are, it will take sometime for the feelings to be quieted; there isn’t agreement.
It’s the same thing when God tells us we are beautiful, look upon the inner part of the man, not the outer. We get to doubting and thinking that we want to change this and tweak that part, not being quite contented with what we are seeing because we aren’t in agreement with God.
His ways are not our ways, but when He made us He did it with utter trust in His intention and that meant that His works are perfect.
Beloved the love God has for us is not seen in our eyes, but through His own eyes. You are wonderful and beautiful in the sight of God.
