God: Called us for a purpose…
Luke 4:18-19 (KJV) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Many of us tend to scrutinize the things we do and align them to common expectations of what a christian ought to be doing. Some of it is according to man’s dictate, the direction granted by an organization versus what pleases God.
One thing that is evident is that God is clear as to what He desires in us; He can talk as we have seen in His word. He has many varying methods of communication which He utilizes.
Saying this to mean; when God calls us, it is a start to a relationship and communication is one of the biggest tools in forging good interaction. If there is an issue with understanding what He has called you to do: talk to Him and He will make it clear.
There are those in need of help and you might just be the one to assist.
Such an inspiring thought: that I might be the one to assist someone in need of help. Lord, may I be willing, attentive, and wise, as you provide opportunity. Thank you, VW!
