God: has certain expectations….
Romans 12:2 (KJV) “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Many times we see folks entering into relationship with God (baptism) and not really understanding what it is all about or the expectation. It begs the question if it is necessary to understand the expectation.
Then again, when we look at some relationships today, there is a breakdown in communications and the expectation isn’t fully expressed so there isn’t an understanding of what the partners need to bring to the table, ending in disappointment.
God stated what needs to be done to satisfy the commitment and keep getting deeper in Him. The next step is ours to do and attain.
