God: spoke things into life, much less our words….
Psalm 19:14 (KJV) “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.”
Talking is a gift many of us are blessed with, yet some aren’t so lucky, but they can communicate in some means. The world has evolved quite beautifully.
The words we speak has power and is quite insightful on how we affect others; we can comfort with our words, we can shame with our words and we can cause quite a lot of damage with the words we speak.
The impact we have is up to us; being mindful of the things that come from our mouths is beneficial when we are called to be ambassadors of the faith. It is God’s desire that we be kind, courteous and a blessing versus cursing and causing harm with words.
For some of us, it takes practices, but the outcome can be very rewarding when a happy face smile back at you when you take the time to speak kind words.
It is all worth it after all.
