Delighting in His presence…

God: precious place to be….

Psalm 1:1-3(KJV) “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

In the course of the day, there is so much activities that presents itself to occupy our time and attention and at the end of it all, we feel incomplete if it isn’t channeled properly.

In the things we are doing, we have to find time to spend with God; that beginning of the day activity which really focuses us for the remainder of the day no matter what comes up.

It literally gives Him the authority to lead and guide; it gives Him the respect due as oversight of our lives and it allows Him to know that your trust belongs to Him.

Spending time with our heavenly Father is a gift and it is a blessing. I am happy to partake in it no matter what event is happening. Tap into His grace, His presence.

I, too, delight to start the day with God. It is indeed a gift and a blessing to spend time with THE King of the universe each morning!

Amen! I just wrote to someone who commented on my recent post. I said that the first thing I do when I can’t sleep is to talk to God. And maybe I have not been communing with Spirit enough and that is why I wake at 3.
    Blessings to you
