Not appealing to look at:yet

God: gave us His Son to be everything to us….

Isaiah 53:3-5 (KJV) “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

In this life, many times we tend to look on the surface to approve a situation, look on the surface to make an approval on someone’s appearance and determine what we think of them and if we will allow them into our circle of association.

It’s not strange behavior seeing that Jesus was treated the same; “we hid as it were our faces from him”. He didn’t act how we were accustomed or did the things we wanted to do, so He became a castaway to us, it was easy to discard Him.

He was our Savior. The Savior of the world and He came to die for our sins; which disappeared immediately He was crucified on the cross, just so.

He might not be appealing to our taste, but He is is the best thing that ever happened to us.

The Lord is definitely appealing. Come taste and see that the Lord is good.
