God: deserves even more from me…
Psalms 34:1-4 (KJV) “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears”.
It’s been said that God loves a grateful heart, someone who expresses thanks even for the the small things in our lives. For me, it eludes me sometimes and I get to complaining, whining when things do not go as I would desire, or the expected outcome escapes me.
Really, it’s not our right to “have” things go according to our plotting and planning; yes, that is what we do and we leave out God’s will and purpose for our lives in the doing. We tend to plan then tack on at the end, “In Jesus name”.
Some say that is taking hold of our destiny, which is funny if we don’t have that level of control. Anything could happen in the next half hour and where would our destiny be?
Plotting and planning: not good. I will bless the Lord at all times, even for the bases blessing which He has bestowed upon me.
Thank you Lord even when I forget to express it.
