God: wants our faithfulness…
Luke 16:10 (KJV) “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”
Sometimes you hear folks making statements that encompasses an entire group and there is no distinction in anyone from the selection; this can be sad especially when the words that are spoken comes from a place of hurt and betrayal.
Instead of applying the brake and thinking that there might be a second part to the story, ooops, a curse is released in the name of anyone who can hear and agree.
It isn’t my theory that we can’t be hurt or that there aren’t evil folks in the world, these things exist. But consider, how many times have you experienced a wonderful gift, someone doing something unexpected for you, the wild cards of goodness lands in your lap.
That makes you trust and belief in humanity, over and over again; maybe in disbelief, but it is reinstated.
Maybe it is your turn to be the wildcard and do something that astonishes and baffles an individual who is burnt out in disbelief. Maybe it’s your turn to be faithful…
