Job 9:2-11 (KJV)”I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God? If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand. He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered? Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger. Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble. Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars. Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number. Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.”
In the physical sense we might be in a relationship with someone and there is a realization at some point that you are familiar with their ways and how they operate; it might be at some point there is a sense of knowing the behavior of that individual and you can adjust or shift things about the interaction so that everyone is comfortable.
Then you have a relationship with your heavenly Father and by gosh, His operations is just mind blowing; you cannot fathom or understand or even grasp where He is coming from.
He gave a glimpse (enough) of who He is in His word and the expectation is that He has certain requirements and those if done He is well pleased.
At times, it might appear that we cannot in all our trying please Him; but remember He did give us His son as well to be that bridge between Him and us. Our nature of in-completion causes a separation.
I think that even if He is unfathomable in our understanding Him, His perfection is that He thought of that and gave His son, our Savior.
Thank you, my mysterious Father.
