Doing what He says…

God: has special instructions for us to follow….

John 2:1-5(KJV) “And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.”

You know the times in our lives when we get the urging to do something that we wouldn’t ordinarily do, yet there is a great urgency in our spirit to go ahead and do it? I’m not talking about bad stuff, although I am sure many of us get that urging as well, but in the realm of going to the aide of someone in some aspect or other.

A neighbor in need of help; that person in the grocery line with not enough cash to spend on food with five mouths to feed; purchasing gas for the car in the lane ahead of you, those kind of things.

In the scheme of things, we know that we ought to do good, but won’t go out of our way to do it every day. When God comes into the picture because there is a need and the other person is praying hard for that needed intervention, this can be considered to be a real God moment.

When God moves on the scene, He instructs and direct us to the point that we do the necessary and then realize that we have just been used.

May God help us to recognize the time and season for us to act on His behalf.
