God: measures are seamless…
Hebrews 9:13-14 (KJV) “For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
When you think of blood it can be thought that many people have a hesitant response especially when it is spilling from your body; it was created to be within you, flowing from veins and doing support stuff, not escaping from the skin and being visible.
Something so life giving cannot be viewed as a nauseating, but it is at times, by the mere fact of it’s properties; can you imagine what God was thinking as He made this provision to support us in our lives.
Imagine then the blood of Jesus which did the same for Him, but now can be used for much more than the believer can ever fathom.
It cleanses, purifies and even energizes; applying the blood of Jesus is a sacred sanctification which renews us.
God’s measures are so seamless and imaginative that it moves one to wonder, how did He ever think of these things?
