Won’t you please, my Father…

God: has power in His name…

Romans 10:13-17 (KJV) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

I had a very poignant experience earlier today which was quite enlightening; my spirit was quite hungry to be in a place with my Father, and at first I was where much noise was evident.

I was finally able to get quiet time to a certain level and turned the radio to my favorite gospel station; I listened pensively as songs came on and to no avail, nothing happen. I felt blank, until it happened: a singer came on who sang and called upon the name of “Jesus” in his song.

My heart stirred and within that period, became broken: that powerful name broke me.

My Father became real, He walked into my presence and He interacted with me.

I won’t dwell on the singers who were singing about Him, yet no mention of His name, but the take away for me: take time to call on His name, it is still a strong tower.
