God: made a great sacrifice….
1 Corinthians 1:18 (KJV) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”
There are times when you try to have a conversation with someone and the information you have to share has no impact, it doesn’t make sense to them and it’s like talking to a brick wall: you are literally providing foolishness.
Such is it with the relevance of the cross which Christ died upon; a believer will under the importance and know that when one says that they have to draw close to the cross, it is symbolic in that it is where the greatest sacrifice was made to ensure that we can know our Savior.
The cross is where deliverance can take place; when peace can flow over your soul like a stream; it is where the reconciliation between God and man became ratified.
The cross of Christ is rich in its ugliness, but it serves its purpose to a world that is dying; draw close to the cross of Christ.
