God: is love….
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (KJV) “Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.”
Sometimes in our relationships things can get rotten really quickly; it can be just a wrong set of phrases and that will be enough to kindle an explosion in either case that can ricochet for weeks or even months.
But then you wonder how you put into effect or activate the words written in these scriptures as they pertain to the true essence of real love.
Long suffering, kindness, patience, not being puffed up, thinking good thoughts, bearing all things; this is a long list of things to put into effect when you look someone in the eyes and say, “I love you”.
Is it truly love; do you really love or just emote on that person?
Love takes a lot.
