God: observe our heart of giving….
Luke 21:1-4 (KJV) “And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.”
In this life, at times we are blessed beyond measure, above what we can comprehend and it can cause us to be hasty in our spending or in the alternate, cause us to be parsimonious because we remember when we had a multitude of lack.
We hold unto the blessings until it becomes a yoke or a choke-hold in our lives and not very good source of enjoyment.
Jesus looks on us as we attempt to juggle the things that come into our lives and at times we do a bad job of being gracious and that is a sin because Jesus set us free from the bondage and insecurities.
Giving and doing so with grace is one of the best gifts we can come into in this world; if you have it, enjoy it in all of it’s latitude.
