A good heart is priceless…

God: knows the value of a man…

Psalm 112:1-7 (KJV) “Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.”

When God speaks to us, He at times speaks directly to our hearts and we are receptive to the words that He whispers to our inner being. Our reverence of God is integral to honoring who He is in His glory and it also puts us in a place of receiving from Him.

When our ways are pleasing to God, He is able to use us for His glory and in this process, it comes to pass that it would seem as if there is a special blessing upon our lives.

Some might call it the favor of God, but it comes with a price and great sacrifice; the blessing can at times flow down to generations. Yet what is worth keeping in mind is that God sees the operation of our hearts and judges us accordingly.

A good heart is priceless.
