Loving you more than myself…

God: loves in a different way….

Philippians 2:3-5 (KJV) “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:”

At times when we interact with each other, it is difficult to appreciate a person especially a brother or sister in faith when they tend to be ornery and have a personality that grates on the fiber of your being.

Our Father in heaven wants us to esteem that person: even though it might be difficult to tolerate everything that they come packaged with, we have to do the best we can to tolerate and deal with and even try to treat that person better than ourselves.

Esteeming each other better than ourselves is a tall order, but God saw that and knew that it is possible.
