Waiting: can be tiring….

God: takes time to prepare a meal for us….

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Waiting is something many of us haven’t mastered and it is a part of the fruit of the spirit as indicated in Galatians 5:22 (KJV). The need might appear to be of utmost importance, things that cannot wait for tomorrow, but God knows the time, day and moment when He will bring our blessing into fruition.

We might be contented to walk away with an incomplete gift when He knows that it will only be for a moment and the fullness is only a minute away.

Might it not be prudent to wait on the Lord? His timing is perfect: His gift is golden; wait on gold.
