God: loves unity…
Hebrews 13:1-2 (KJV) “Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Some of us are aware of the word of God to the point that if someone starts a verse, we can literally end it from the first word. It is etched upon our brains, however the activation within our hearts leave much to be desired.
The adversary and even our flesh at times fools us to the point where we defer for what we need and what is currently in fashion in the world; but the practice of what is needed just isn’t there.
It’s not an attack against grace, for love covers a multitude of sins and in our weakness (not presumption) God will judge the situation.
But back to brotherly love and graciousness; we would want to be treated fairly and earnestly with tolerance, yet in the opposite we at times have a leverage on how long and how many times we can forgive.
It is good to see ourselves in the shoes of someone who have hurt us to the point of bleeding and maybe that might give us a different perspective on letting the word be activated.
