God: created a perfect system…
1 Peter 2:21-23 (KJV) “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:”
When you do something wrong it can be nagging on the conscience to the point that your guilt won’t allow you to rest; it can stay with you for a long time, even when you make it right.
But consider the risen lamb, our Savior and redeemer, who had no sin to His name, yet He was reviled; many of us haven’t had that to deal with, but it sure hurts when we have to deal with the offenses that come our way: we feel dejected and at the point of throwing in the towel.
A perfect example is before our eyes: Jesus did it and bore it, all for us; we can do the same for Him. In His name.
