An appropriate answer?

God: prepares us with adequate answers…

Daniel 3:16-18 (KJV) “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up”.

In our lives we have many instances of idolatry and to honest, we don’t face up to them. Even if we have had our conscious stirred about them at some point in time, they have become so entrenched in our lives that it would take a great work to root them out of lives.

But if it is that God has identified and pinpointed the detriment of these idols and stirred us to disassociate from them: what will be your answer and how will you react?

These three Hebrew boys knew their God and was determined to stand firm and committed to Him. In commanding them to bow to his idol, the king was commanding them to compromise what they believed in and turn from the way they walked in.

May God always be at the forefront of our actions to the point that we deny anything that would draw us from Him.
