God: attitude of gratitude…
Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Me telling you that it’s quite easy to find peace can be an insult to some of us; I include myself as well because when you are in the fire, then it’s not easy to be counselled as it might appear to be an affront.
But I rarely envy another, but the individual who can be easy going genuinely and take the good with the bad and still have a smile: that person creates envy within me.
The word tells us that what really pleases God and what works is to be “anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” and that my friend is a tall order for many.
Worry doesn’t pay and neither does fretting at God: my prayer today is that by the work of the Spirit of God, let this attitude and gratitude be imputed within us for the journey.
