God: lives in the praises of His people…
Isaiah 6:3-4 (KJV) “And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke”.
Praises to God can take many forms, but it gets pretty interesting when we lose ourselves in the act and the Spirit of God takes over. We can offer praise and worship with our mouths and it really doesn’t hit the mark, but the effect is realized when God takes over the effort.
In our reading an example is set by the divine beings whose duty it is to worship God; it is seen that after they had done their duty, a major shaking of the infrastructure took place.
When was the last time your church building shook; the smoke of the Spirit appeared or even a definitive manifestation took place after praises?
Maybe it’s time to rethink the process because things have to happen when God’s people praise Him earnestly.
