God: has a plan…
Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV) “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”.
In being a believer we trust and hope that what we are doing is valid and has the approval of heaven: our heavenly Father to be precise. We fellowship with folks and we want to do it as the word instructs, loving and caring for fellow believers.
But what if in the process of time, some fall away as the word tells us many will in the last days; that person you cared for so much and wanted desperately to see falls into error and that hope dies.
You still have your life to guard diligently; you can pray for someone, you can intercede and prevail which is what we ought to do as saints of the most high Lord. But beloved ensure that you keep your eyes on the prize, guard your heart, your soul as if it’s the last chance you have and in all truthfulness: it is.
