God: created a faithful witness…
Hebrews 3:1-2 (KJV) “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house”.
I can’t do it; no that is too hard for me to do; please ask someone else to go; it’s too much and too complicated;; it’s not time yet; I won’t do it: these are just some of the lame excuses we use when we need to be on assignment for God.
I think Jonah was very creative when He took a trip sleeping in the bottom of a ship to attempt to escape his duty from God. But through it all we know that God cannot lose a fight.
We see here that going back years ago, Moses was called and though he had excuses at first, he learnt obedience and did what he was called to accomplish; through many pain and loss..
It is possible to hear and obey when God is directing us; but the choice is ours whether we can be faithful or allow our lives to end with a caption of “one who disobeyed the Almighty”.
