God: provided the best antidote….
Ephesians 1:7-8 (KJV) “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence”;
In prior years, sacrifices and remission of sin required a sacrificial lamb to shed it’s blood; the blood was the ingredient that would be the agent of appeasement to our Father for our transgression against Him.
This is something that was put in place temporarily until the real or more authentic sacrifice came on the scene: the Living word.
When He shed His blood, then the washing away of sin was offered to anyone who desired to be cleansed and regenerated. Today, His blood still makes the difference.
