Lamentations 3:22-25 (KJV) “It is of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him”.
Sometimes we keep repeating things which to some might appear to be repetitive; but to others it is a breath of fresh breeze in their souls. I hear about the mercies of God so often that you would think that I had gotten enough of hearing of His goodness.
Not so: He is good enough to think on the fact that I need nourishment on a daily basis to get me up and running to accomplish my needs and provide them fresh.
Daily it is new mercies, new grace, new provisions: nothing left over, but brand new every day. Can you think on a reason why it is impossible for us to take the time to say “thank you Lord”?
I delight to do it more often.
