God: has someone praying especially for us

Hebrews 7:24-25 (KJV) “But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them”.

Sometimes you get to praying and really just bomb out, the words or thoughts can’t come and you just end up in a really funky place where you leave out of meditation asking yourself, what just happened?

It was just one of the most effective tools the adversary can use against a believer: mind blankness. It will work to block transmission of information between you and your Father. But as always, God has a plan to counteract the attacks against His people; He promises us that Jesus “ever liveth to make intercession for them”.

In the book of John 17 (KJV) Jesus went into deep travail on behalf of the people surrounding Him: His disciples and those who where His followers. He stormed the throne of grace and was at one with His Father as He poured out petition, but it did not end there: He took it deeper when He remembered us.

SO many years ago, Jesus thought of you and I as believers and He took it all the way home with His father by praying for us.

Beloved when it gets to the point that you can’t carry yourself in this walk: Jesus is already carrying you.
