God: is to be revered in all things…
Psalms 32:18-19 (KJV) “Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine”.
There are times in our lives as believers that we get to the point where because of any number of reason we walk away from the body of Christ: frustration, disenchantment, disillusionment; whatever the rationale we have, we act as babes and in our emotions and there can be no resolution, so we walk away.
It reaches the point that in walking away from a particular body, we end up leaving the umbrella of God’s protection over our lives.
One thing just ricochet and runs into another, and before long, we end up a backslider; which is not a good state to be in.
In the first place, the relationship is between you and your Savior, and when something is important to us, we fight to keep it at all cost. God is looking upon our actions and motivations. He identifies whether we reverence and fear Him enough to the point to say to someone who has offended us to the place where we want to leave Him protection: stop, for God I live and die.
