God: established a place of fellowship for His people…
Psalm 84:2 (KJV) “My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God”.
In this life there are many places that we have choices to be and spend our time which in our busy schedules is very precious. Some of us have also developed a deterrent to being in this one place where the people of God are encouraged to be for fellowship.
As time progresses, many believers have chosen to walk away from fellowship for one reason or another and to be honest the reason might be quite solid in their eyes: but let’s look at the joy the Psalmist expressed when faced with being the presence of God.
There was a longing, a hunger, a thirst for that which pertained to God as it relates to being in His courts.
Desperation is the word which comes to mind as we see his expression: when last did you have that drive to be in the place where God joins His people together in worship, prayers and adoration?
Pray for that hunger to consume you…
