God: has an intent when He gave us patience….
Psalm 27:14 (KJV) “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord”.
For many of us, the attribute of patience is one that has taken years to cultivate and yet we still are plagued with the smaller issues that is related with practicing it: a flare up of the impatience, the slightest irritation when things don’t go right, tension building up when we perceive that someone might require for us to wait or even having to be stuck in traffic.
The anti-patience attacks tend to creep up on us unaware at times and we simple fall back into the pattern. But thank God for Jesus who paid the price so that we can walk free from weaknesses such as these.
The word tells us to “wait on the Lord” and that is the most loving advice in terms of preparing to receive that which we been promised of our Father.
Wait on Him, wait on the Lord..
