In the eye of the storm…

God: made the storm…

St. Mark 4:39 (KJV) “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm”.

This life we live is comprised of the storms; big ones, little storms, hurricanes, squalls, you name it and they can manifest in our lives to cause havoc and sometimes to shake us up and create changes that at times change the entire scenario of how we view life.

But in our conscious state we have to be aware that the living God of heaven is the creator of the storms in our lives; He tells the storm how far to go and how long to rage, but the one thing we need to be aware of is that God never made a mistake in that He can in one fell swoop, command that storm to “be still” because your master speaketh.

Jesus can as He has done before, command that storm to be infused with the peace of heaven and acknowledge that the maker of all things is in control. Be still because your time of manifestation is over; be still for your time to rage against my saint is past. Just be still.

Maybe you are going through a storm that have been raging for a long while now, but hear the word of God as He steps into your situation, ‘storm, be still’.

Oh, to just be still. Such truth and hope in those words! Knowing He is indeed in control of ALL things. 🙂
