Think: to the uttermost…

God: goes to the extreme for us….

Hebrews 7:25 (KJV) “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them”.

Although God causes His rain to fall on the righteous and the wicked (Mt 5:45 kjv) many folks cease to understand that God has a standard that He must exercise. I have heard many folks say that they hadn’t given their lives to Christ, but they are good people, they don’t do anything wrong.

It’s a dilemma which used to perturb me, but when I understand the level of deception that is planted in the world, I get it.

Legitimacy is a word and situation that many don’t hold true to any more and as with man, so do they in committing to a relationship with God. Folks are of the mindset that it’s fine to be in an illegitimate relationship with Jesus, but if the word that He sent forth is worthwhile and must accomplish what He sent it to (Isaiah 55:11 kjv paraphrase), then that stance is a lie and a deception from the enemy of our souls.

If folks throughout this world knew how far God will go for them when they decide to say “I do” to Him, it would be heart rending and tear jerking. Wholehearted commitment is a way of life that God will repay and you can’t outdo God in numbers.

Jesus purpose now as the risen Christ is residing at the right hand of God, making intercession for you and I. His eyes are ever so much pealed upon us as belonging to Him. Think on your relationship today….
