God: made a provision for me…
Romans 5:6-8 (KJV) “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”.
The work of salvation is presented in varying forms, but the premise of Christ dying on the cross is rolled up in the fact that God loved the world so much, that He made a decision that for us He will make a sacrifice.
Love does that to you, it will cause you to do things you wouldn’t normally do; it takes you to the extreme in providing and giving.
We who are saved, once walked in sin and we weren’t good; as a matter of fact we were base in our sins and would blush to think on some of them now. But thank God for His love and that statement has a new meaning that melts the heart.
God saw and God allowed a chance: God loves.
