Use the name….

God: gave us Him and the name….

John 14:12-14  (KJV) “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it”.

As a child when things go bump in the night, sometimes we cried or sometimes go running for our parents or just plain hide beneath the blankets until it quiet down or disappeared.

As an adult, the noises still reverberate in our lives and some noises cannot be shared with folks or they get to thinking that something is wrong or get the wrong idea. But we know someone whose very name has the power to turn things around, make stuff disappear that tries to harm us.

His name is so powerful that fears starts to tremble at the mention of His name; at the sound of His name the atmosphere clears and clarity is the order of the day. Sickness becomes uncomfortable when you consistently whisper the name…

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus: go ahead and try it: Jesus, Jesus.

It all starts to become clearer now….His name has power..
