God: won’t force us to be with Him….
Psalm 119:66-68 (KJV) “Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes”.
Although we are taught of God and His statutes are ever before our face, the choice of doing what He commands is still up to us; He created a good way and it is ever available to lead us into the path where we will do that which is right.
Many of us, know this way and then we choose to step away, out from the umbrella, the protection which is readily available to us and then we become afflicted: we go astray. The choice again is up to us to return to Him as He readily waits for us.
God, our Father is true to His word and liveth to comfort us, hold us, protect us as only He can do. May we reach out to Him for that which is freely granted even as He leaves the door of mercy door swinging wide open.
