Are you really seeking?

God: wants us to go seek….

Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV) “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart”.

In our lives, ideally when we enter relationships we don’t want half of a commitment, but we desire to have someone who is really vested in our well being and everything that pertains to us.

How much more do you think God wants to be in and through us? God is a perfectionist in all His ways, if this was not so He would not have restarted that which was found to be faulty in humanity.

As such, He requires that if we want Him to do it wholeheartedly; give Him the best you can in attempting to find Him and it is His promise, His guarantee that He will make sure that you don’t walk away empty handed.

Seek for Him and you will find Him….

Hey there – I sorta get your point but my slight issue is that when we take a verse like this for the OT we are forgetting that God is in us and with us they the I dwelling presence of the Holy Spirit – and so some of these verses applied to a people and social time that was pre – cross – and as such is more history of these people and. Or theology on how to seek him out – do. It mean to split hairs – but just really feel we need to be careful with some of the history in the OT that spoke to a certain group at a certain time and does not always easily transfer to a new covenant of grace –
