God: ought to have first dibs on our temple…
Matthew 21:12-13 (KJV) “And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves, and said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves”.
When we enter into relationship with God it takes a mutual giving and taking wherein we give Him our all and He inhabits our bodies through the working of the Holy Spirit.
There are times when we lend our bodies where the Spirit of God lives to activities and events that aren’t particularly godly and that can be a hindrance to our operating effectively in the body of Christ; as the reading indicates, we have changed the original intent of the house.
God is a forgiving Father and He is long-suffering toward us and His hands are stretched out to His children seeking to pardon and restore.
Regain the covenant standing and watch God do the most wondrous thing through you..
