God: can do it just like this if you trust Him…
Psalms 37:3-6 (KJV) “Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday”.
When the waves of opposition hits us so hard it seems that our way will never be defined or come to fruition; the things we want and desire seem to be so far and out of our reach that it creates feelings of depression and oppression.
Our ways, our habits, our attitudes cannot bring us to what we desire, it only draws us further away from accomplishing those things, but if…
If we delight ourselves, if only we delight ourselves: the promise of God is “delight thyself also in the Lord: and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart”. How simple yet awesome is that promise?
