He knew the trauma of death, so He stuck around….

rest for your souls

God: knows and He cares…

John 21:12-14 (KJV) “Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead”.

If you are one who has experienced loss in your life, the death of someone that is very close to you and even as you plan the process of burial and releasing their mortal body, it is your desire that their spirit remain with you at some level.

Jesus knew and I believed He would have experienced death throughout His walk on this earth and He knew the pain a person undergo in this isolating process; He knew the impact He had on the lives of the disciples as they had formed a bond of togetherness in the period they were together in His final years in His ministry.

He must have know their pain and confusion in doing the transition without Him, so He hung around for just a bit, a little while longer.

Even today as we go through our situations which are caused by life events, He still is with us, present as we do the transitions of life’s many occasions. He is still hanging around to guide us through them…
