God: allowed the man to win the fight….

Genesis 32:24-29 (KJV) “And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there”.

Throughout our lives we have been called by many names; at times the names weren’t very complimentary, sometimes they might have been, but ultimately our names are used, or names given to us are used to characterize and brand us.

When those names associate or mingle with our spirits either good or bad things can happen as we see with this man of God: Jacob. His name by birth meant deceiver and if you look into His life story, he lived his name.

But after you experience a God moment, the possibilities are endless; the changes can be many. As did this man, you too can fight your way to your blessings and win; you too can have an angel experience and walk away limping but highly favored; you too can have a divine change of name that will transcend the test of time and one which can change your character.

As for me: I want that kind of blessing; to be allowed to know the angels of God, see them, interact with them, and be blessed of them, all in one night.

Are you up for a fight tonight?
