This one act is required….

God: inhabits holiness, and we are called to be holy….

Acts 2:38-39 (KJV) “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call”.

God demonstrates precision in everything that He does, even to the requirements for receiving His Spirit by those whom He has called to His service. At times we fuss and quarrel about folks coming to Christ when in reality, they aren’t meant to come to Christ and this might not be very popular for some to receive.

But ultimately, there will be people who we love and respect and hold up to a high standard who will refuse to accept Jesus as their personal Savior. What can we say then, or what can we do: pray until the end.

But if it is that the free will they have been granted by God allows them to say no, my friend there is not much outside of knee city that you can do for them.

But if it is that you have prayed and prayed and there is indication of a turning, lead those folks quickly into repentance and keep praying for them to receive the gift which is so precious to us all: the Holy Spirit.

It is a gift which will complete the change. Keep praying….
